We moved on to the Buena
Vista Hotel on New Providence Island where the exterior scenes for the
Madagascar Embassy were shot for Casino Royale. Then we moved onto
the absolutely amazing and luxurious Atlantis Casino Resort on Paradise
Island to view the area where Bond ‘joined’ Largo’s divers during
Thunderball. As we were leaving we could see from within The Dig or
the lower level of the Great Hall of Waters, the Ruins Lagoon. Filled with
ancient Atlantis artefacts, it was home to over 20,000 deep reef and
pelagic fish including a variety of tuna, jacks, snappers and spiny
lobster. The 2.7 million-gallon exhibit allowed for the magnificent
display of species of fish that would normally be impossible to view
without getting wet.
