Lot #762 - 11 Film Cans with 82 35mm Film Reels For Your Eyes Only (1981)

11 film cans, full of 35mm film reels, from the production of For Your Eyes Only (1981). These film rolls and trims were used by Maurice Binder to create the trailer, teaser trailer and, most memorably, the opening title sequence. Binder designed the opening titles of 14 James Bond movies, beginning with Dr. No (1962). He was also responsible for producing the iconic gun barrel sequence.

The metal cans come in various sizes, and between them contain 82 reels of film, also variously sized. Handwritten onto the side of each can is the content of the reels. The majority of the cans are labelled “Mains Material”, with the others labelled “Logo Comp”, “End Roller”. The writing on the side of one of the cans is unclear. Some of the cans also contain handwritten notes and paperwork, including a lab report from Technicolor. Some of the reels feature handwriting. The cans exhibit significant rusting, and the reels are untested. Dimensions (largest): 45.5cm X 45.5cm X 5cm (18" X 18" X 2").

Also included are seven partial sheets bearing pencil sketches, along with a production memo. The set labelled “Pre-Title Sequence” features additional black-ink detailing and revised annotations, some of which have been amended using Tipp-Ex and pen. The pages show signs of production use and handling, including corner folds, edge wear, and small tears. Dimensions (larger sheets): 39cm X 48cm (15.25" X 18.75").

Estimate: £3,000 - £6,000

Lot #766 - James Bond's Exploding Pen GoldenEye (1995)

Lot #766 - James Bond's Exploding Pen GoldenEye (1995)

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) exploding pen from GoldenEye (1995). Q (Desmond Llewelyn) provided Bond with an exploding pen. In the film's climax, a nervous Boris Grishenko (Alan Cumming) inadvertently activated the pen's explosive feature, with Bond using this as an opportunity to damage the control centre and escape.

The pen, crafted from metal, originally featured a functional “arming” indicator: after three clicks, a red light would flash through a transparent window on its body. Internal wires connected to a 9V battery socket powered this effect, though the mechanism is no longer operational. Dimensions: 13.25cm X 1.5cm X 1.25cm (5.25" X 0.5" X 0.5").

Estimate: £2,000 - £4,000

Dimensions (script): 30cm X 21cm (11.75" X 8.25").

Estimate: £1,500 - £3,000

Lot #768 - Cigar Girl's Stunt Boat-mounted Heckler & Koch HK21 Rifle The World Is Not Enough (1999)

Cigar Girl's (Maria Grazia Cucinotta) stunt boat-mounted Heckler & Koch HK21 rifle from The World is Not Enough (1999). A HK21 featured in one of the film's most exciting chase sequences, mounted to the back of the speedboat piloted by Cigar Girl as Bond (Pierce Brosnan) pursued her down the Thames.

Cast from resin and hard rubber, the gun is a heavily modified version of a HK21 machine gun with an additional plastic scope and PSG-1 stock. The barrel shroud and the tanker-style muzzle brake are custom-made. The gun is finished in black, brown and white paint. Dimensions: 140cm X 24cm X 31cm (55" X 9.5" X 12.25").

James Bond's (Pierce Brosnan) Omega Seamaster Professional 300M Automatic Chronometer (model 2531.80) from the productions of the last three Pierce Brosnan Bond films Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999), and Die Another Day (2002). After issuing agent 007 with a high-tech Omega Seamaster Professional (quartz model 2541.80) in GoldenEye, Q (Desmond Llewellyn) switched to automatic 2531.80 models for the subsequent three films.

This specific non-functional Omega watch was used by the productions of the final three Brosnan-as-Bond films to make and cast additional watches for SFX shots, though the watch itself was not seen onscreen. Made of stainless steel, it features the signature wave-pattern blue dial with luminous hands and hour markers. The watch is accompanied by an Omega storage box and an additional card box. The red Omega box shows scuffs from age and handling. Dimensions (Omega box): 12.5cm X 14.25cm X 7.5cm (5" X 5.5" X 3").

Estimate: £2,000 - £4,000

Lot #772 - James Bond's Stunt Mac-10 Submachine Gun Die Another Day (2002)

Lot #772 - James Bond's Stunt Mac-10 Submachine Gun Die Another Day (2002)

This stunt version of an Ingram Military Armament Corp M10 9mm sub-machine gun is made from dense foam rubber. It features such details as an engraved serial number; front and rear sights; a trigger guard; various screw fixtures; a non-moving safety catch; a non-moving pull bolt; a trigger; a compensator; and an engraved barrel. The gun displays light scratches and chips to the foam rubber. Dimensions: 30cm X 25.5cm X 4.5cm (12" X 10" X 1.75").

Lot #774 - Bond's Distressed Money Clip, Credit Cards, and Faux Currency Casino Royale (2006)

James Bond's (Daniel Craig) distressed money clip, credit cards, and faux currency from Casino Royale (2006). 007 kept his money clip in his pocket throughout the film, pulling it briefly to tip a courier who delivered his and Vesper Lynd's (Eva Green) new identity documents in an envelope from M (Judi Dench) after the pair arrived in Montenegro.

Based on a custom design created for the film by noted silversmith Douglas Pell, this metal clip is intentionally distressed by production with scratching and discolouration applied to appear aged during Bond's physical encounters with Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen) and his goons. Included are 11 production-made Euro bills in denominations of €5 (x1), €20 (x4), and €50 (x7); and four credit cards. The bills exhibit creasing from production use. Dimensions: (largest) 7.75cm X 7.75cm X 2cm (3" X 3" X 0.75").

Eve Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) dressed as a civilian in a tan jacket and black trousers as she and James Bond (Daniel Craig) pursued mercenary Patrice (Ola Rapace) and the top-secret hard drive through the streets of Istanbul. Under M's (Judi Dench) orders, Eve took a dubious shot at the mercenary, only to accidentally hit Bond instead.

The ensemble comprises a cotton Belstaff jacket (size “38”) and a pair of leather J Brand trousers (size “26”). Also included is a hand-marked wardrobe tag for “Eve Stunt”.

Estimate: £2,000 - £4,000
